This hill side vineyard has deep roots and great sun exposure — the ideal situation for producing classic Napa Valley Bordeaux varietals. Although Petit Verdot is typically used as a blender, the soil and vineyard management yields a Petit Verdot with depth, balanced tannins and complex flavors.
Aged in French Oak for 18 months and kept in bottle for another 2 years. The aging process is crucial as it allows the wine to slowly integrate.
Our Petit Verdot opens with raspberry, violet and dark fruits layered with anise and rich oak. This full bodied wine has texture and depth with grainy, lingering tannins on the finish.
